Health and Social Care Students Spread Christmas Cheer at Local Care Home
This December, our Health and Social Care group brought festive joy to residents at Heatherdene Nursing Home. The students spent the afternoon engaging with residents through a variety of activities designed to brighten the season.
The visit included Christmas singing, Christmas themed bingo, and some arts and crafts, helping residents make festive decorations and cards.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for our students to apply their skills in a real-world setting while giving back to the community. It was heartwarming to see the smiles and hear the stories shared.
A big thank you to the care home staff for welcoming us and to our students for their enthusiasm and kindness. This visit truly captured the spirit of Christmas!
