Adventure's on the Shore.
Year 8 went on a hunt for treasure amongst the pebbles at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.
Staff from Sussex Wildlife Trust were enthusiastic as they talked about the important wildlife site which is home to more than 4000 'species of plants and animals, including 300 that are rare or endangered'.
Pupil's explored the different items that might wash up on beaches as flotsam and jetsam, and the many different types of shells that they may find.
The highlight of the day seemed to be watching the big trucks and bulldozers moving the shingle after recent storms.
