Well done to the two Harveys, Ryan, Fenton, John and Natalie who got all the way through to the regional finals for the Table Cricket competition at the K2 Arena in Crawley yesterday.
The team were runners up and were such a credit to Saxon Mount School. We won all three of our games and were made runners up on points scored.
It was a long day and we had to drive like the wind to make it back to school for 3.15. The pupils showed great skills in encouraging and supporting their own team mates, as well as encouraging the other school teams. As a result of their participation, we will have a delivery of new table cricket equipment, supplied by The Lords Taverners.
